Artist's Comments

I'd have to "destroy" a drawing to prove its real.
The first is a photo of my drawing and I.
The second is after I took and eraser to part of the suit.
It's fixable so I am not worried about it, I just didn't have the time to sit and do a drawing progesssion in a day and I would rather people see for themselves that what I do is REAL. The reason I didn't erase his face or hands...because screw that I am NOT giving up those hours of work to show someone that I am truely an artist.
Goes to my [link] drawing of course.

-For now this is in the wrong category until I put this in scraps-

Don't fret over the jaded, pathetic, bitter rants of jealous miscreants that probably think they're better than everyone else. They wouldn't bleed glitter if they got punched in the nose or run over by a garbage truck, so why should their simple jabs and attempts rile you? You know you do good work. WE know you do good work.

 Supporting you.

Someone actually accused you of that?? How awful! You should never have to deface a drawing to prove it's real. Sheesh, some people...

Still love the drawing!

Blah,
If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep on doing the things that you want. It's not like it would matter to them unless they bought your art, and received a copy that wasn't made of Charcoal o.O It's not really a problem if the people who order commissions from you and get what they wanted .... Why don't they buy your art and see for themselves?
I can understand how that must not feel very good if someone is accusing you of something that you did not do. It isn't fun. But also, it's not good for your inspiration to let negativity distract you from your work.
If anything, perhaps it means that you are so good you can be mistaken for a photograph? o.o Wooooooow! : )

Lol it just makes you think, and it sort of distracts from why you are really drawing. I draw because it makes me happy...even if I could draw and it made me happy I'd still do it. It upset me for the moment, but moments pass. I feel better and I feel like I have a bit more...validation? thanks for being kind.

You're nicer than me on that subject, I'd just tell them to screw off. Unless it was someone of real importance you shouldn't feel that you have to prove to them that your work is real.
:icondemi28:
I'm sorry you had to go through this, but really its a complement, right. It means you are so good that someone didn't believe you did it. Frankly I hope I have to go through it too! :)
:iconwesternman:
I can't imagine who rates such a demonstration, but surely your ability won't be questioned by anyone again. I guess it is something of a complement to your skill while simultaneously an unwarranted question of your integrity. Obviously, the tasteful majority of this community believe in and regularly marvel at your artistic prowess.
